2016
The first generation of Chile students and academic team is now history. Such a great cohort, so many experiences, and more importantly, every single one of us who went on this trip made the first overseas field course in Chile a fantastic and successful memory. We were also in the news (here and here).
First and foremost, the first ever picture of everyone at the entrance of the Llanos de Challe National Park, with the t-shirts given to us by Isla to keep as a memory.
At the National Museum of Natural History in Santiago. First day of the trip. We had access to the scientific collections, including a unique experience having a look at the world's oldest mummies known by humankind, the 'chinchorro mummies' from the high Andes.
